Do all photographers attempt to wrangle nature into images we can understand?

Should photographs cause viewers to relate, evoke an emotion or even to repel?

You are invited to put yourself in another place.

Contemplate. Question. Enjoy the experience.

Steven studied Fine Arts at the University of Notre Dame and spent a year in Paris working with American Photographer William Munke.

Much of his photography centers around topics including landscape, portrait, street and abstract themes with the occasional whimsical image.

More examples of his images can be found on Instagram – Olinger.Steven

Photography influences include William Eggleston, Marc Riboud and Joel Meyerowitz.

He lives in Minnesota with his family, numerous dust bunnies and an amoeba ranch.
